Apostrophe by Stefan Sagmeister
Apostrophe is a stunning two-color screenprint with an unforgettable design. Originally commissioned in 2005 as part of a series celebrating punctuation symbols, this piece reimagines the apostrophe with wit and ingenuity. Assigned to Stefan Sagmeister and Matthias Ernstberger, the duo transformed the apostrophe into a symbol of elimination, brilliantly depicted as the trigger of a gun. High-caliber whimsy, indeed.
Printed by the skilled artisans at Brooklyn's Haven Press, each serigraph comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, making it a true collector’s piece.
